Scalloped Face Coth Edging

I found this pattern at "Crochet Courtyard"This is a very simple way to add a lovely edging to any washcloth or dishcloth.
Materials: #10 crochet cotton, 2.5 mm crochet hook, facecloth
(Note: you can substitute the same cotton and hook you used to make your dishcloth if you wish to decorate your knit or crochet washcloth or dishcloth.)

Directions:

First Round: Working at the dege oand through the facexloth, join cotton with a sl stitch to the side of the facecloth. In the same fashoin continue working sc around the entire face cloth, join with a sl st to the friest sc.
Next Round: Ch 4, work 7 tr in the same sp, *sk 2 sc, sc in the next ch, sk 2 sc, work and ( 8 tr shell ) in the next sc, * repeat from * to * around entire facecloth. Join with a sl st to the 4th ch of the starting ch, finish off.
